Promotional staff set for Royal Wedding event
April 28, 2011
With Royal Wedding fever about to reach a crescendo, a promotional staff team from Ngage has been busy preparing for a weekend of wedding-themed fun. Taking place in Duke of York Square, Chelsea, London, from tomorrow til Saturday, the event promises to be a huge extravaganza. It is in the same square that is rumoured to be a regular haunt of bride-to-be Kate Middleton.
The Square will be transformed with celebratory flags and traditional bunting, as the nation joins together to celebrate the Wedding of the Year. Visitors are being encouraged to dress in their wedding day finest for a party that promises to be the next best thing to being at Westminster Abbey itself.
“Royal Foot Guards” will oversee proceedings, as Chelsea gets into the wedding spirit. Champagne stalls get the party off to a bang in the square as guests are invited to sit and enjoy some delicious food and drink from the Duke of York Square cafés and restaurants.
On Saturday, the much-acclaimed Saturday Food Market will also be open selling the best locally sourced, British produce. Duke of York Square retailers will be holding special in-store events and promotions as they join in the celebrations.
Other events to look out for include:
• Having your photo taken with the royal couple
• Recording a video message to be shown on the big screen
• Taking a ride in a horse drawn carriage
And Ngage couldn’t be more excited. We will have six promotional staff on site for the two days, including an event manager, whose vital role will be ensure that the Brand Ambassadors complete their work to our usual high standards. Our Event Manager is keen to make sure that the whole event runs to a tight schedule and that everything is set up and ready to go at the right times.
Ngage has also provided a compere for the two-day event. His job will be to compere for a fashion show, talking the crowds through the outfits and generally ensuring that all guests have a great and entertaining two days.
Two of our Brand Ambassadors will be dressed in wedding-style outfits and will be engaging with guests at the street party encouraging them to take part in a wide range of activities.
Another two Brand Ambassadors – who are also actors – will be dressed as Royal guards for the event.
Join the celebrations and you’re sure to have a fantastic time. Ngage promotional staff hope to, too!
